Payment

www.SAproducts.com.au website represents and facilitates checkout for both SAproducts and Stanley Street Butchery.

SAproducts uses Stripe to process online credit card payments.  Birchson Pty Ltd will be taking payments for and on behalf of SAproducts and Stanley Street Butchery.

Visa and Mastercard are accepted.  We apologise for being unable to accept American Express or Diners Club, or Paypal, at this time.

All prices are in Australian Dollars (unless marked otherwise) and are GST inclusive.

Important: Unavailable Products

Because SAproducts IMPORTS most groceries (sauces, marinades, magazines, drinks, sweets etc.) from South Africa, we may not always have your items in stock at the time your order is being processed (due to customs delays or other reasons beyond our control).  Should this occur, we will refund the portion of your order that cannot be fulfilled.

We produce fresh Biltong, Drywors and Snap Sticks daily and these items are always in stock.

 

Shipping

Your order can be delivered to most locations in Australia. Parcels are either delivered via Courier or via Australia Post. In every event, it remains the sole discretion of SAproducts to determine which provider will be used for your order delivery. (In the event that your postcode results in an error message saying that we are not able to ship to your location, please contact us on admin@SAproducts.com.au)

Important note:  We do not accept Parcel Lockers, Parcel Collect or PO Box addresses on orders.  Providing a physical address is essential.

International Orders

SAproducts may accept international orders for certain countries.  In the event that your location results in an error message saying we are not able to ship to your location, please contact us on admin@SAproducts.com.au

Important, please note that while SAproducts may in certain circumstances send products to countries outside of Australia, via Australia Post, we recommend that, prior to placing an order, you check whether there are import restrictions imposed by the destination country on the goods, since this is the responsibility of the purchaser and SAproducts is not liable for confiscated items. 

Shipping Charges

Due to our large range of imported products, shipping charges are dependent on products, weight, size and destination, and we will not be able to calculate your exact postage amount until your order has been processed. If a discrepancy in the shipping cost of an order is determined, then a refund of the difference may be issued to the credit card used to purchase the order, prior to or at the time of dispatching the order.

Please click on "Estimate Shipping" during Checkout in order to approximate your shipping costs (regular parcel rates).

Shipping Times and Order Processing

We aim (if possible) to dispatch orders within 1 - 2 business days after receipt of payment.

Note that due to the perishable nature of meat products, orders received after noon on a Wednesday containing biltong (except Jonty’s Biltong pre-packaged bags), drywors, and snap sticks, may only be dispatched the following Monday.

Other packages (not containing perishable items) are normally dispatched from SAproducts within 1 - 2 business days after receipt of payment (providing the products are in stock).

Delivery times vary according to destination. Please allow up to approximately 5 working days for delivery in NSW and longer for other locations.  We emphasize importance on the fast and reliable delivery of your orders, however please note that delivery times are estimates only (provided to us by third party transport providers) and we shall not be liable for any delays once the order has been dispatched to those third party transport providers.

Shipping Instructions 

Except for international orders (for which shipping is handled individually), all orders will be dispatched as ATL (Authority to Leave) and do not require a signature.  This means that the mail service provider will leave the order at the nominated address on the order, even if nobody is home to receive the order (unless a calling card is left by the mail service provider instead, notifying the addressee of where to collect the parcel from). 

 

 

Policy on Unavailable Products

Because SAproducts imports most groceries (sauces, marinades, magazines, drinks, sweets etc.) from South Africa, your items may not be in stock at the time your order is being processed (due to customs delays or other reasons beyond our control).  Should this occur, the value of the portion of your order that cannot be fulfilled will be refunded to the credit card used to purchase the order.

We produce fresh Biltong, Drywors and Snap Sticks daily and these items are always in stock.

 

Returns

At SAproducts we would like you to be 100% satisfied.  For orders withing Australia, we will accept returns for damaged or unusable Grocery Products (not including biltong, drywors and snapsticks - see below) within 14 days of delivery, provided you contact us to claim within 24 hours of receiving your order.  If the return is a result of our error (for example, incorrect or defective item), we will pay the return shipping costs.  Refunds or replacements are normally issued within 14 days. For all grocery items (including those other than food), please keep all original packaging and documentation in the event that your product needs to be returned.

Biltong, Drywrs and Snapsticks are perishable products and are susceptible to mould formation if not stored correctly, especially in periods or areas of high humidity. If your product is sent vacuum-sealed in plastic, upon receipt please remove and place in the PAPER BAGS provided. Store in a well-ventilated area, preferably under a fan (not in a cupboard).  Any replacement biltong, drywors and snapsticks orders are at the full discretion of SAproducts.

 

Returns and exchanges can ONLY be authorised by us, so please confirm by emailing us at admin@SAproducts.com.au how and where to return items prior to doing so.  Right of refusal for the return or exchange of products is at the sole discretion of SAproducts, except where the Trade Practices Act of Australia makes allowance.
